Demitrius Omphroy is a Northern-California native living in Toronto, Ontario. Demitrius is 22 years old and is currently playing in Major League Soccer for Toronto FC. As of now, he is the only multiple sclerosis patient to be playing professional soccer.

Jen's Blog

Jen Vasey is married, with two children and owns a music school with her husband. Since being diagnosed with MS on October 31, 2007, Jen has been on a mission to share her hope and optimism toward life with others who have MS.

 

Michelle's Blog

Michelle Walsh is married, with two children and owns a 4,000-acre ranch in Saskatchewan. Michelle was diagnosed in 1991 and is excited about how she can use her blog on MS Village as a tool to help others live and thrive with MS.


 

Valerie's Blog

Valerie is married with one child and is the secretary for the Greater Moncton MS Society chapter. Although Valerie does not have MS, her husband Todd does—she is his primary caretaker and will be sharing her perspective on what it’s like living with someone who has MS.

Denise's Blog

Denise Brownlie is a retired English teacher who raised two children and was an active Okanagan BC birder and volunteer. Now housebound, she wishes to share over 50 years of living with MS and hopes her experiences and positive outlook will help others.

 

Richard's Blog

Richard Gernon is married with two children and works at the Navy Dockyard in Halifax. Richard will be sharing what it is like being the primary caretaker of someone who has MS, so others in similar positions can be optimistic about the future.
