Two Oral MS Drugs in Final Human Testing Stage
People with MS have long been waiting for the day when they can set aside their injection routines and take medication orally. It would drastically change their treatment schedules and outlook for the better. Two promising medications, oral cladribine and fingolimod are in Phase III trials (final testing stage) and are expected to be receiving approvals in Canada in about one year’s time.
